This one needs some explaining. Yes we hope the Pack can beat the Vikings this week, but this is a pic made for a buddy of Hudson's here in China, who sent Huddy a similar orange and blue helmet drawing. Huddy of course joked of ripping it to shreds after sending a picture to Caedmon. The hatred for anything yellow and green in our house grows deep. One must never dream of using a green plate coupled with a yellow spoon or fork or cup. NEVER. If you land on a green spot and you have a yellow marker in a game, you better believe there will be a scream. I overheard a conversation a few weeks ago while the kids were coloring the different pictures for our nativity scene. Someone must have colored green and yellow on something- perhaps a wise man?- and yelled, "Packers!" "Oh no!" "Awww...yuck!" were the responses. And then something like, "Well God doesn't care if its green and yellow. He doesn't care about the Packers." "Yeah, He only cares if people know Him". I'm not really sure where the deep hatred for the Packers came from- yes some from their mama- but a couple Uncle Joshs and Casey's love for the Packers help... but I am glad that there is a recognition that there are more important things in God's eyes, and I hope in their eyes too :)
Sadly, there was a long list of other funny conversations on my phone which has been deleted- probably by our littlest who likes to steal iphones when left anywhere around the house.
A recent funny question from Tito at the table though (totally serious), "Mom, can you please pass the salt and pepperoni?" :)

Love this! Hatred for green and yellow paired together lives at our house, too :)
