Hudson has been playing more and more b'ball these days. Even gets out the chalkboard and keeps score there- sometimes 2 NBA teams, usually 2 college teams, most often 2 Big Ten teams- Duke ("Puke", according to Hudson- thanks to Uncle Mark) and UNC have also played some in our living room the last few days.
(Wisconsin and Northwestern tied here, 125-125, 6 OTs!)
He told me the other day that he needed to finish his game- before- I think it was- practicing piano. And then he proceeded to tell me that no one wins until they get to 100-- which usually results in at least 3-4 OTs, most often 6-7. The current score on the scoreboard during today's nap-time is Illini 93, Michigan 87. Not sure if that one is officially over or not :) The question I'm asked far more than any other these days is, "What do you think the score is Mom?".
For "Math" yesterday, Gracie reported the scores (just trying to recognize 2-digit numbers...) and Hudson told me how much the Illini beat Michigan by. Michigan never won in all of the 12 "games". I was told that wasn't fair, but I disagreed. We're all hoping- as TT calls them...the "Li-ni" get it together and have a few more wins in them :)
